Speaking of Australia aka the ‘Down Under’… that is one of my future travel list. Though I have not been to ‘down’ there yet but that does not deter me to research and write up on some of the cool beaches to be visited in Australia. Forget the outback and even the populous Gold Coast! Here’s some of my top 4 awesome beaches to be explored in Australia as part of my yet another sponsored post in

flights to Australia1. Bondi Beach Arguably Australia’s most well known beach but I have not heard about it. Well situated in New South Wales, it’s a mecca for tourists, lifesavers, and surfers. Due to long sun rays, it’s a perfect place for sun surfers. Just a few minutes away from vibrant Sydney, Bondi beach is a place to be hit!

2. Cable Beach Ever wondered by it was named that way? Yes Cable Beach was named after the telegraph cable laid between Broome and Java in the year 1889. Renowned as one of the most stunning beaches in the world, Cable Beach is a twenty-two kilometres pristine white sand beach situated near Broome, Western Australia. Filled with my kind of turquoise water facing the Indian Ocean, it is a perfect place for surfers as the tide can reach over nine metres. The sunset is one of the most magnificent you can ever see in the world.

3. Hyams Beach A small seaside village situated at the south of Sydney, it is an excellent holiday area for families. Hyams Beach is famous for holding the whitest sand in the world in the Guinness Book of Records.

4. Whitehaven Beach Situated on an uninhabited Whitsunday Island near Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef, Whitehaven Beach the beach is so dazzling that it hurts to look at without sunglasses. Awards galore! The beach won the Queensland’s Cleanest Beach Award 2008 in Keep Australia Beautiful Clean Beach Challenge. In July 2010, Whitehaven Beach was named the top Eco Friendly Beach in the world by CNN.com. Pets especially dogs are not permitted on the beach and smoking is prohibited/banned (that’s the best part!). Unlike regular sand, the sand on does not retain heat making it comfortable to walk barefoot on a hot day. This is a natural feature I have never heard of.
