Alcatraz Delivery Service and A Philharmonic Surprise!

Over the next few days, I want to post about some really neat campaigns.

A Philharmonic Surprise
Recently, the Copenhagen Philharmonic surprised passengers in the CopenhagenMetro by hosting a flash mob. To help promote and celebrate the 2012/2013season, the orchestral flash mob performed and recorded their version ofMorning, from Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt. I would actually find this a superpleasant surprise during my commute.

Alcatraz Delivery – Prison Food DeliveryService
To promote the first season of the hit TV show Alcatraz in Spain, Leo Burnett Iberia decided on a different wayto help promote and build hype for the show. The agency created a fast fooddelivery service called Alcatraz Delivery, which was actually based on anactual prison food delivery service.
Each order is pretty much what you can expect from prison, and it was handdelivered by a prison inmate complete with accompanying police officer. Eachorder contained food and a package containing information about the show andthe Premier. They even went as far as to create a customer service line. Seethe case study below.
