Another clever use of a 2d code extends the user experience through a video. After drawing the artwork, I scanned it and manipulated it in Photoshop; several layers were created and edited to add elements and move parts of the image around. I then rendered it as a .avi file. NOTE: I've taken the landing page down; you can see how the code resolved by watching the video, below.
The 2d code appears on the back of greeting card; the art is on the front. NOTE: The landing page is no longer active; scanning the code will not work. Once the video was rendered, I embedded it into a web page, copied the URL, generated a QR code and placed it on the back of the card, along with some basic instructions. Below, you can see the result when the code resolved. |
